We have so much fun at the party that I forgot to take pictures of all the great deserts we have. It was so good to be able to sit down and chat for an afternoon. Thank you all for contributing.
Chao’s first pound cake was great, Linda’s cheese cake was so delicious and pretty, Diane’s pumpkin bar with cream cheese was out of this world, and not to mention Nancy’s Pumpkin Swirl, oh boy…, you’ll have to try it to know how good it is. Don’t forget Karmen and Deanna’s cookies, one with a stick of butter and one with oil, both were delicious. Everything is so pleasing to the eye… Thank you all very much for such as fun afternoon.

block party 001

We did our 6 mile walk to downtown yesterday. Great exercise and the weather was so nice. Dave wanted to try the new Pizza place cross the street from Jerety’s, turned out they weren’t open yet. We ended up at the Main Street Grill. It was their Grand New Reopening night with a sign of $10.00 prime rib special. We were served with their honey butter spread with bread. It was fantastic. The prime rib was OK. We both like our meat rare, but it was not as rare as we would like it to be. The meal was beautifully plated. Dave had wild rice and I had jasemine rice. My rice was too sweet and I like the wild rice better than mine. The cut of meat was OK. For both of us and tips, we spent $30 last night. Not too bad.
