Admiral's Ct of the Lake Manitou

We have so much fun at the party that I forgot to take pictures of all the great deserts we have. It was so good to be able to sit down and chat for an afternoon. Thank you all for contributing.
Chao’s first pound cake was great, Linda’s cheese cake was so delicious and pretty, Diane’s pumpkin bar with cream cheese was out of this world, and not to mention Nancy’s Pumpkin Swirl, oh boy…, you’ll have to try it to know how good it is. Don’t forget Karmen and Deanna’s cookies, one with a stick of butter and one with oil, both were delicious. Everything is so pleasing to the eye… Thank you all very much for such as fun afternoon.

How about getting together October 24th for an afternoon of desert / drink.  Bring your favorite drink or desert, and your receipe.  We can all learn from each other and who knows, may be you will have something new to make for your family at this year’s Thanksgiving dinner. 

By that time, hopefully, you have some opportunity to post something on this blog.  I’d also like us to get together and discuss where we’re going with this blog.  So, bring your thinking cap.

Thanks to Deanna and Karmin for organizing this event.  We had a lot of people who showed up and  I had  great time.  The food and music was good.  It was nice to see everyone out having some fun.
